Besides being frequently asked by people to assist me in holding the lights, carrying my bags to the next nude shoot or asking if my wife knows about this I thought to compile a few answers to questions I've been asked recently...

1) Do you have a studio?
We prefer to come to the client's home, there are a few reasons for this, mainly that the client is then close to all the things they want to wear for the specific shoot i.e lingerie, sexy sleep wear, hats, jewellery etc... Also that the client seems to be more at ease doing a nude shoot at their own home.

I do however have a part of my home that I do convert into a temporary studio should the client insist on doing the shoot in a studio.

2) What time of day will be best for a nude shoot?
I do prefer it when it is dark, for then I can control the light, but at the same time natural light coming from a window can do wonders too, so it all depends on the mood that wants to be achieved.

3) Do you work alone?
Me and my wife Lindie work together as a team, helping with the lights, poses etc., considering that nude photography is sensitive, I prefer not to do it alone, always want someone present, like the client's partner for instance. But there are the occasions where the nude shoot is done for a intimate gift for the client's partner, then it will be just me and Lindie.

4) How will I as the client get comfortable in front of the camera?
We know how difficult it can be, especially when it is your first time!, so we do not rush anything, let the client get comfortable with the camera gradually, starting with test shots fully clothed, then with less and less clothes till they comfy. Some will have a few sips of wine, tequila etc. to calm the nerves.

Me and Lindie work well together as a team to make the experience a very pleasant one, we constantly keep a nice atmostphere as our previous clients will know by now. I also show the client some of the shots during the shoot, then he/she can see how well the shoot is going.

Many times I have seen where clients started off very unsure of what to expect, to see them enjoying it to such an extend that when the shoot is done, they just want to keep on posing for the camera.
